The all-new Norco Range VLT C1 has been designed from the ground up to crush big days spent out on the trails without so much as a blink. With a sleek all-new design and class-leading battery options, the Range VLT C1 is a Big Mountain beast ready to climb faster than professional riders, while having the kit to conquer anything you throw at it. Featuring 180mm of front travel and 170mm of rear travel, as well as a revised angle on suspension, the Range VLT is the first Norco electric mountain bike to offer Norco’s signature ride.

Norco has taken advantage of their exclusive Ride Aligned™ Design System and the input of their Factory Team for the all-new design. They’ve lead the design and engineering process from the front, openly dictating the design of the Range VLT, before testing it out in the wild. The result? Geometry and suspension kinematics optimised for rider comfort and feedback, while the Ride Aligned™ Setup Guide enables riders to custom fit and tune their set-up for unmatched performance from the first ride.

The first thing riders will notice is the Norco Range VLT’s low centre of gravity, which is due to the unique fork layout and shock position. The decision to engage FOX Racing during the design process has worked wonders for Norco: the FOX Factory Float 38 and DHX2 Fork feature a custom tune for the Range VLT that has resulted in an active and balanced suspension. Overall, the Norco Range VLT has a stable platform for all terrains and an incredibly efficient design that makes speed feel natural – it maintains momentum through rough, technical descents while making the most of every pedal stroke on tough climbs.

The Norco Range VLT is powered by Shimano’s latest generation motor and battery system: the EP8. It’s a real peach of a combination, with the motor re-orientated to ensure the battery, which is contained in the downtube, to easily be removed when swapping or charging off the bike. Speaking of batteries, the Norco Range VLT can accommodate 3 different and unique battery options: 540Wh, 720Wh or the extreme 900Wh capacity battery, giving you the option to change your battery depending on your riding style or needs. While the whisper-quiet Shimano EP8 motor rewards riders with instant power and torque on tap making climbs a breeze.

With the incredible tech on offer and the stiff carbon frame, naturally, Norco had to kit the Range VLT out with the components to match. As a result, you get Shimano XT/SLX running gear, maximising the efficiency of the EP8 motor. The included XTR derailleur offers slick and precise shifting, while the 12-speed cassette really gives you the range of gears you need to make climbing easy. If you ever feel uncomfortable or like you’re losing control, your concerns will be addressed with the huge 203mm Shimano Ice-Tech rotors providing incredible braking power and modulation after repeated use.

SLACK GEOMETRY
The Range C1 features one of the slackest head tube angles you’ll find on an Enduro MTB. It may seem counter-intuitive, but combined with the redesigned Range C1’s progressive geometry, it results in precise high-speed handling in the roughest conditions.

NEW HIGH PIVOT DESIGN
The pivot point is not fixed and moves as the suspension cycles, creating a rearward axle path while controlling its path through suspension travel to provide lower levels of anti-rise. This translates into a suspension set-up that carries momentum exceptionally in rough terrain, yet remains active under braking to maintain grip and control.

LONG TRAVEL DROPPER POST
The Range VLT C1 features a short seat tube for maximum standover clearance, allowing size-specific, long-travel dropper posts to get seats completely out of the way in the rough stuff. RIDE ALIGNED

OPTIMISED RUNNING GEAR
The Range was designed and optimized for the Fox DHX2 shock. With a custom damping tune, mounting other shocks will negatively affect the ride quality and precision Norco have engineered-in.
