Designed to ensure you’re comfortable on any surface the XFR 3 has a Suntour XCE28 Suspension Fork with 80mm travel to handle the bumps, and fast-rolling multi-terrain tyres for a smooth ride. Comfort is further improved by the upright geometry and X6 aluminium frame design which gives you can incredibly stable ride, while remaining light and easy to control.
The mechanical disc brakes give you reliable control which inspires confidence even among entry level riders. All around the XFR is kitted out with capable spec, including Shimano shifters and rear derailleur for reliably smooth shifting and performance from the 3×7 speed Shimano drivetrain. You can even put your own finishing touches to suit your needs with chainstay mounted disc brake callipers you can easily mount fenders and racks. The XFR 3 shares a lot of similarities with the higher end XFR 2, with the main differences found in the drivetrain and braking as the XFR 2 is predominately equipped with Shimano Altus components instead of a variety of lower end Shimano spec founds on the XFR 3, while the XFR 2 has the superior hydraulic disc brakes instead of mechanical disc brakes. However, the Norco XFR 3 Hybrid Bike still does a bit of everything well, which is what you want from your hybrid bike. You can get up some easy speed and really get going and still handle any bumps or rough surfaces you encounter if you want to head off the pavement.
